The ALCO Christmas Party

Last night we went to Tony's work Christmas party and had a wonderful time! Drinks, dinner, dancing and good friends - what more could you ask for?! It was at a Senior Center which is literally right down the street from our house. We debated walking, but it was freezing last night and there's no way my shoes (or feet) would have made it that far. We sat at a table with a bunch of friends, and I got to meet Tony's captain and a bunch of other people. Everyone was so nice! We had some great drinks (my friend Theresa and I had vodka and cranberries, while the guys all had beers to look manly. I know they would have preferred the girly drinks!) The dinner buffet was great - greek salad, fresh bread, chicken marsala, steak, wild rice and veggies, and the dancing was great too! They played our song (Frank Sinatra's "The Way You Look Tonight") which was one of the highlights of the evening!

It was nice to get all dressed up, and have a night out! My mom watched Leila, who got to go to her own Christmas party! I think everyone had a great Saturday night!
One of the reasons we didn't walk:
Yes, they're fabulous, but man are they uncomfortable! My feet aren't used to heels like they were back in my Nordstrom days!
