Greek Turkey Burgers

I'm not a big fan of red meat, but loooove turkey meat, and turkey burgers are (according to my hubby) one of my specialties. Tonight Leila and I had what I like to call "Greek Turkey Burgers" with yukon gold fries.

Here's my recipe if anyone is interested:

Turkey Burgers:
*1 package Jennie-O extra lean ground turkey
*1 handful of crumbled feta cheese (from Trader Joes)
*1 handful of kalamata olives, sliced small
*1 handful of sundried tomatoes, sliced small (not so Greek, but they were great in the burger)
*1 palmful herbs de provence (my favorite seasoning!!)
*1 small drop (about 2 tablespoons - no more or the burgers get greasy) extra virgin olive oil

Combine all ingredients and form into patties. If you have a little one make sure to make an itty bitty patty. Cook over medium heat about five minutes on both sides. As you can see from my ingredients (a handful of this, a palmful of that) this is nothing fancy, but it is delicious!

Yukon Gold* Fries:
*4 - 6 large Yukon gold potatoes
*1.5 tablespoons garlic-infused olive oil (this is the one I use)
*1 large palmful herbs de provence (seriously, it's my fave!)
*1 large palmful rosemary
*1 tablespoon crushed garlic
*a few sprinkles of parmesean cheese

Preheat oven to 425. Wash and dry potatoes, and cut into wedges. In a large ziploc combine all ingredients, and SHAKE, SHAKE, SHAKE until all potatoes are covered. Bake at 425 for 25 - 35 minutes, based on how crispy you like them. I like them verrrrrry crispy, so I cook them for longer.

*I usually use fingerling potatoes, but didn't get any at the farmer's market this week. This was my first time making these oven fries with yukon golds and they were really good!

Enjoy!! If anyone tries either of these recipes let me know how you like it!
