Pre-Season Practice

I made a couple of "blog resolutions" for myself this year, and one of them was to bust out my actual camera (not just my camera of choice - my iPhone.) Not only do I want to use the camera more, but I want to learn how to use it well. I know there are tons of great (and simple) tutorials and e-books out there,  and if you have one you recommend, I would greatly appreciate it if you'd link it up in the comments!

Leila's softball season is just around the corner, and her and Tony have been practicing quite a bit lately.

She's expressed interest in pitching, so that's what they were working on when I snapped these.

She's moving up a full age group, which makes me a bit nervous, since she will be one of the youngest out there.

I know she'll do fine, though! She can't wait for the season, but at this point her biggest concern is what color  uniform they'll get and what their team name will be.
