Bits of life lately - Christmastime edition

These last few weeks have been a whirlwind of fun!

We got our Christmas tree in the mountains:

Leila was student of the month:

We saw The Nutcracker:

Went to Leila's ballet performance

And Coco's school performance:

....and her dance performance too!

Tony and I hosted our annual Christmas cocktail party. (The caramel macchiato jello shots and peppermint mocha martinis were huge hits!)

We had a fun Christmas party at the fire station, and even Santa showed up! (I love my hubby's Fire Department!!)

We had a relaxing Christmas Eve day, and got some pitching practice in:

..and got dressed up to go out that night.

Christmas morning was amazing! The girls were sweet, and wonderful, and thrilled with everything they got. Coco's favorite was an Elsa costume:

And Leila's favorite was a big girl bike, in the exact color she was hoping for, so she just knows Santa worked extra hard on it ;)

We hosted my family on Christmas, and had a great time!

The day after Christmas we headed to a big open field for some bike riding:
 And some kite flying.

The day was so gorgeous that we had to sneak in a family selfie too!

The girls and I saw (and loved!) Annie:

And we've been taking it easy over the last few days, since I've had a nasty cold! My mom made me some homemade shower bombs, and I hopefully seem to be on the mend.

The last few weeks have been great, but it's always bittersweet when the Christmas season comes to an end. The Christmas decorations are down, and the girls go back to school next week. I will miss them (I love having them home over school breaks!) but I'm also looking forward to getting back into my routine.

So, now I want to know - how long do you keep your Christmas decorations up? Do they come down 12/26? Do you give them until New Years? Let me know!
