Meet the newest member of our family, Sugar! She is a 12-week-old purebred miniature American Eskimo Dog and we're already completely in love with her! We got to pick between her and one of her sisters and while they were both incredibly cute, Sugar is the one that came right up to me and also gave Leila big kisses right away - we knew she was the dog for us! Sugar is pure white, except for spots on her tummy. Full grown she'll be about 20 pounds. American Eskimo Dogs are known for their intelligence and playfulness and make great family dogs! She's AKA registered, and we have the option to register her with the AKC. We have to come up with one of those long, goofy names, but we're kind of looking forward to it! : )
We got her from a breeder in American Canyon (near Napa) so we had a long drive, but Sugar did great! She is incredibly sweet with Leila, Tony and I and gets along well with Ramon. She's been a bit posessive towards Tony or I when she's on our lap (barking, growling at Ramon) but we're working on that. She is a sweet, little fluff ball and we're thrilled to have her!
