September Birchbox Review

Do you birchbox?  Don't know what birchbox is?  Let me fill you in...  Birchbox is a service where you pay $10 a month, and every month a beautifully packaged little box shows up, filled with 4 - 5 deluxe-sized samples, and occasionally even full-sized, high end beauty products.  If you are a product junkie like me it is amazing. It's like a present from a little elf who knows you very well every single month. I highly recommend it.  If you feel like trying it for a month (or more!) please use my name (Heather Giustino) as a reference.  I'd appreciate it.

Here's what this month's birchbox looked like:

Pangea Organics Facial Cream (for normal to combination skin)  $36 for 2 oz.

This smells amazing. I was hesitant to use it on my skin, since my skin is *so* sensitive, but I've been using this for a few nights with no breakouts or signs of sensitivity.

LIV GRN C2C Fragrance Collection in Earth  $60 for 3.4oz  This smelled really nice! It had a light, floral scent (maybe a bit too light) but my husband really loved it! My one complaint is that it doesn't last long at all.  I put it on in the morning to go to MOPs (around 8:30) and then by habit around 10:00 I smelled my wrist and couldn't even detect the perfume.  Wah.

Incoco Nail Polish Applique Strips in "The Cat's Meow"  $10.99 for sixteen strips, which is exactly what I got in my birchbox. Holla!  These are SO cute!! I haven't actually put them on yet, as I'm rocking Deborah Lippman's Ruby Slippers, but I am really looking forward to trying them!!  "The Cat's Meow" is exactly what I would have picked for myself, so Birchbox did a fabulous job!

Jouer Lip Enhancer.  $14 for .33 oz.  I'd never heard of Jouer until Birchbox, but I have to tell you that I think it is an awesome brand.  This lip enhancer went on a little thicker than a chapstick, but not as thick as a balm.  It had a light, beautiful smell and kept my lips hydrated for hours.  This is definitely something I will be buying the full-sized version of!

Finally, a sweet, little birchbox friendship bracelet was in the box as well.  A cute pink string, with a silver outlined square similar to the birchbox logo in celebration of their first birthday!  Birchbox is a service I cannot recommend highly enough.  Give it a try!
