Mele Kalikimaka

Merry Christmas, everyone! I cannot believe it is already over! We had two fabulous Chrismtas celebrations - one on Christmas Eve, since my man had to work Christmas Day, and one on the actual day. Christmas was so much fun this year because of Leila (come to think of it, everything is better because of Leila...) It was amazing to see Christmas through her eyes! She had fun unwrapping her gifts, playing with wrapping paper and boxes, and seeing her family!

Being "Santa Claus" was a new and fun experience! Tony and I stayed up on the night of the 23rd putting together Leila's big gifts, stuffing her stocking and arranging her Santa gifts in front of the tree (Santa doesn't wrap in our household.) Tony was having a little too much fun with one of Leila's presents that has all the letters of the alphabet and kept spelling out bad words!

On Christmas Eve morning (our Christmas day) we woke up early (when don't we?) and our living room was filled with presents! Leila was a little overwhelmed and didn't know what to do but quickly warmed up to the above-pictured {bad-word-spelling} toy. She also fell in love with a few boxes.

On Christmas day Leila and I went to my parent's for breakfast and more present-opening! In the afternoon we visited Tony at the station. Leila and Tony were *so* excited to see eachother! It was very sweet!

Next year he is scheduled on Christmas (this year it was overtime) so I am sure our celebrations will be very similar.

After visiting the fire station we headed to my aunt's house for a big family dinner. When we got home Leila and I fell asleep right away. It was a long, but great two days!

LOL...about the bad words. Ha. I didn't even know the toy could do that. I'll have to go try later once Ty is in bed. Of course, Leila looks as gorgeous as ever. Fabulous pics!!
