Kara's Cupcakes

Leila and I were in San Jose this morning, and into the afternoon and she was a total champ. No whining or complaining, and as a treat we went to Santana Row, had a lunch date and stopped at Kara's Cupcakes to bring home some deliciousness! A handful of my friends raved about the cupcakes and since we were in SJ I figured we'd might as well give them a try. The store is tiny, but cute and done in my favorite color scheme (pink, green and chocolate brown.) The only thing I didn't love was the customer service. The girl that helped us was *really* rude, and when I asked she could show Leila the mini cupcakes she said (and this is a direct quote) "If she touches it or breathes on it you have to buy it." Seriously? Seriously? Anyways, I was in a good mood so I (mostly) ignored her, let Leila pick out a cupcake (organic strawberry creme), I picked out one (coconut) and Leila picked out one for Tony (chocolate velvet.) I only got minis, because we didn't need the huge ones and the girl said "Is that it?" in a very snotty voice. Eww. (It actually wasn't it, because I also got a ridiculously cute bottle of water, but I digress.) Anyways, the cupcakes were delicious but I'm not sure if we'llbe going back, based soley on the customer service. Oh well. As long as the peanut is happy.

I can't believe you got such bad service. I second a yelp review with exactly what you posted! They are awfully cute though, and Leila looks darling eating one!
