Future carpenter?

On Saturday morning we went to Tony's happy place - Home Depot.  We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the first Saturday of every month they have a free kid's club.  On their first time the kid's get an orange Home Depot apron, which one of the workers puts their name on and then they get to build the "project of the month"  This month it was little wagons.
Leila loved hammering away.  Of course she had help, but she did a lot of it on her own.  Her favorite part was using the glue, and then decorating her wagon with stickers.

She was SO proud of herself when she was done!

After each project the kid's get a button to put on their apron.  Leila's button has a little wagon on it.  That little wagon has been carrying all sorts of her toys around, and she's putting the apron to good use too!

If you have kiddos and need some home supplies, make sure to check out the Home Depot the first Saturday of every month! (I know that's where we'll be!)
