Life in phone pictures

This girl is the most insane Daddy's girl you've ever seen.  She stood at the back door yelling "daaaaaaaaaaaadaaaaaaaaa" the entire time Tony  was mowing the lawn.

A fun little treat made Leila's day.  Yay for 20% off coupons at Ulta and random Justin Bieber nail polish!

My little shopping buddy tried on a good 10 different pairs of sunglasses at TJ Maxx.  She kept saying "thank you!" and was not thrilled when I put them back.

Another box, another 20 minutes of fun.

Not to brag or anything, but my pasta salad is pretty amazing. (see below for recipe)

Took my big girl to Nordstrom. She really wanted these lavendar Ray-Bans. I told her they were too expensive for a little girl and she said she'd give me $5 towards them. She was shocked when I didn't take that deal.

My friend, Nicole is amazing.  These are my two newest clutches from her.  Adore.

When the going gets tough, the tough get glittery.

Pasta salad recipe, as requested....

Ingredients:
1 package of your favorite tortellini (I use Bertolli's herbed chicken tortellini)
1 box tri-colored rotelle pasta
1 small salami, cut into chunks (the thick kind you get in the deli section)
1/2 package of turkey pepperoni, cut into small pieces
1 large red bell pepper, chopped
1 small can sliced olives, drained
1 package crumbled feta cheese
1 bottle of Italian Dressing (lately I've been using roasted red pepper Italian dressing by Kraft)

Cook tortellini and pasta.  Drain.  Add 1/2 bottle of dressing and refrigerate at least three hours.  Add remaining ingredients, including the other half bottle of dressing and refrigerate at least one more hour, and serve.

This is one of those recipes that tastes better the longer it sets, so it makes excellent leftovers.  Enjoy!

Heather

Great post! I love that your daughter enjoys playing in boxes too... I was entertained as a kid with a box and markers for hours! Would love the recipe to your pasta salad too. Have a great day. :-)

Tara - it's the sparkly pink (don't remember the name) Sally Hansen nail stickers. Love them!
