Introducing: Glitter and Gloss, the lip line

Finally, my labor of love can be revealed!! For the past (almost) year I've been working on a line of lip products. I'm a total makeup junkie/hoarder/snob and wanted to find a better way of sharing my passion with all of you.

Several years ago a friend and I had a mini makeup line, and since we let it go I've been itching to bring it back. I knew it'd be too hard to do a full line on my own, and thought long and hard about what element of makeup I love the most: lips. I love how throwing on a sultry, red lipstick and some big, oversized sunglasses can change your mood and attitude. Or how finding THE perfect lip gloss can make your heart skip a beat. After lots of research, I've come up with (I think) a pretty fabulous line!

I am offering three different (color) lip products - lipsticks, lip glosses and lip glazes. (More in-depth descriptions and pictures available in the SHOP)

Lipsticks: Packed with vitamin e, paraben free, creamy and long-lasting! Currently available in seven gorgeous shades, more shades added every season!

Lip glosses: these have been formulated to give extreme shine with a stay-put application, that is slightly tacky, therefore long lasting. They're paraben free and filled with lots of vitamin e!

Lip glazes: These are a gorgeous, super high-shine gloss. Developed for those who don't want a tacky feel. Lip glazes are more "slippery" and glide on sheer and glossy. Super moisturizing and paraben free.

Finally, we have two ultra moisturizing lip balms available (herbal mint, and vanilla bean.) They're loaded with vitamin e, and natural shea butter. These lip balms will knock your socks off!

Five things I'm obsessed with.

1. My new phone case (c/o) from Splendid and Spark. It's too stinking cute! I'm a sucker for anything personalized, so I went with the arrowhead design, and style one for the font. Splendid and Spark offers tons  of adorable things, including tons of different notepads (awesome for people like me, who love all things paper!), fabulous prints, cards for all occasions and so much more. 2. Everything by K. Slademade.  Kelsea offers gorgeous handmade leather goods that are as high in quality as any other designer bag I've ever owned. (Yeah - I'm talking on par with Marc Jacobs. No joke.)  I recently bought her adorable cork clutch and am obsessed with it!! Is it weird that I've planned my outfits around the bag?? No? I didn't think so....

3. My new favorite summer shows. Junk Gypsies and Cajun Justice. Try not to laugh too hard at Cajun Justice...it's kind of amazing. It's sent in the bayou of Louisiana is basically their version of Cops. I'm constantly amazed by all the alligators EVERYWHERE!! Alligators to the bayou are like squirrels to the Bay Area I guess. Anyone from that area?? I'm fascinated. Junk Gypsies is a super cute show on HGTV about two sisters who go around finding stuff at flea markets and thrift stores, re-purposing it and re-decorating rooms. Love!

4. River & Bridge. Heather, the creative mastermind of River & Bridge makes the most gorgeous invitations and stationery. I love everything she does, and am especially in love with her French macaron thank you cards!

5. Filthy Farmgirl. I discovered this brand (of all places) at the ABC Store in Hawaii. I was instantly drawn in by the fun retro-inspired packaging and clever names, but the quality of the products is what has me hooked. I picked up a few things, including a fabulous almond chapstick (really only bought it because there was a squirrel on the package) and a couple of fun soaps.

Gorgeous New Earring Colors!

Happy Tuesday!! I'm sitting here typing on this cold, drizzly day and craving Spring! I really shouldn't complain because this year the Bay Area didn't get much of a Winter....in fact I complained about how warm it was all Winter, and now I'm complaining how cold it is.
