(Rates will be going up $5/month starting January 1 for all current sponsors.)

2012 will bring a handful of changes to Angel Face Designs, including a brand new blog design by the extremely talented Fabulous K, and the series Hello, I Love You will be made into a weekly link-up.

The boutique came and went.....

....and it was a success!  Saturday was the third annual Angel Face Designs Holiday Boutique.  Hosting a boutique is always involves a lot of fun, a lot of hard work and a lot of nerves. I get nervous because since most people don't really rsvp to boutiques you can't really gauge how well it's going to do. I'd feel terrible if I had a house full of amazing vendors, and no one showed up but this year was just the opposite.  We had several amazing and talented vendors, and lots of people came to shop with them!

My fabulous Matilda Jane trunk keeper was there with the most gorgeous clothes!! Leila and Gianna will be wearing this on Christmas! I got this for myself, and Leila will be getting this and this for her birthday! I'm in love with this company!!

Heather was there with some adorable bow ties and headbands from CM Handmade (coming soon!) and she had the cutest table display ever!

Denissa was there with her fabulous Scentsy products (have you smelled the new Fall and Winter products? Amazing!)

The sweet Sarah from Evy's Tree was there with lots of gorgeous hoodies, cardigans and more! I think very few people left without something from Evy's Tree!

There was a ton of gorgeous 31 Bits on hand! Beautiful jewelry for a wonderful cause? Sign me up!

And of course I was there with all of my Angel Face Designs jewelry and some boutique-exclusive goodies too!

I want to thank all of the amazing vendors, all of the wonderful people who came and shopped with us, and my parents for letting me use their house for the event this year!! (Tony especially thanks you!)

Ch-ch-changes (Important announcement, please read!)

Dear Friends,

It is with a heavy heart that I am writing to tell you I will no longer be doing sterling silver stamped jewelry.   Angel Face Designs is a small fish in the big pond of stamped jewelry designers, and quite frankly I just can't keep up.  Over the last year the price of sterling silver has gone through the roof, and shows no signs of stopping.  I don't place huge orders when ordering my silver; therefore I don't get a huge volume discount like some of the bigger, more well-known jewelry websites.

I have less than fifty pieces of sterling available for stamping.  If there were any Angel Face Designs creations you were hoping to get, now is the time, as once my silver is gone I will not be re-ordering any for a long, long time. 

I will still continue to do rings, earrings and some more fun, new creations (make sure to keep checking in!) And of course I will continue to blog here.

I know there are SO many options out there when it comes to stamped jewelry, but two shops that I want to recommend to you are Lisa Leonard Designs and Amy Cornwell.  Their jewelry is amazing, and high quality and the women behind each company are fabulous as well.

Like the professional name of this post? Pretty, New Pretties.  I have a few new things in stock:

The Necklace Factory

I love bib necklaces. Like slightly obsessed (ok, more than slightly) and whenever I see someone wearing one I stop them, ask where they got it and gush over it.  I have a few - this one from Miss Betty Lou, this vintage one from Allora handmade and even a ridiculously fab custom one from my friend Julie, because (let's face it) she's awesome.  Basically I really love these amazing, big fashion statements.  My budget however does not so much.

We had Gianna's pictures taken on Wednesday and I knew we'd sneak in a couple, so I started searching Etsy for an awesome bib necklace for myself.  I found tons of amazing ones, but just really didn't want to pay.  Then I decided I'd try my hand at making one.  I kind of thought I'd hate it and it would never see the light of day, but I was very pleasantly surprised.  Here's what I came up with:

I made the rosettes using Haute Blue B's tutorial, and the pom poms from Little Miss Momma's tutorial.  Then I added some tulle in the background, a little bit of bling and some beads on the chain.  What do you think?  I kind of love it, and think it looks cool on.
